Recommendations Prior to fitment of 2 stroke or 4 stroke pistons. The fitment of this type of product will require: - A high level of mechanical skill - Specialty tools to install. - OEM service manual We strongly recommend that the steps below be undertaken prior to running the motor. Failure to follow these steps may lead to engine failure due to negligence of the person responsible for installation. The cylinder will need to be measured to ensure correct piston to cylinder clearance as per OEM manual. The ring gap will also need to be measured to ensure that clearance is correct as per OEM manual. We also recommend assembling engine with “clay” or similar means to ensure that piston head to cylinder head clearance is adequate and with OEM specifications. We recommend the use of an hour meter to ensure correct service intervals occur as per OEM specifications. Other modifications including but not limited to: aftermarket or altered ignition systems, cylinder porting and cylinder head modifications may make this product not suitable for your motorcycle please consult a professional prior to purchase.
